What a clear and
understandable website. I am not a professional
organist but love playing for worship and
entertainment. I am looking for a regular organist
for the Christian Spiritualist Church in Bridgwater.
We need someone who can play a few hymns etc. The
instrument is only a single manual. No foot
pedals!!! [If you can help please e-mail the
webmaster in the first instance.]

Although I have played
the organ for many years I feel I can't call myself
an organist, I'm a bit better as a trumpet player.
I looked at your site as my son Phiilipis Organist &
Master of the Choristers at Lichfield Cathedral and
until going to Westminster Abbey as a chorister
lived in Chard. I did think while on your site it is
a pity that he hasn't been invited to play at Wells.
His reputation is well recognised. You can look him
up on the Google search engine. Your site is well
put together, congratulations.

I am planning our
summer holiday, and as usual organs figure![as do
steam trains!!]I am browsing the local organ society
websites with this in mind. We usually go to East
Germany, but think that somewhere in Somerset,Devon
or Cornwall this year.

Just to say that you have created a very fine
website. I was wondering where you got all the
pictures from as I am looking for similar artwork?

Delighted to see that the web site has become a
reality. We hope that it will encourage more people
to take an active interest in the events that are
arranged and may SOCA go from strength to strength.

Thank
you for inviting me to build this site for SOCA.
I love organ and choral music (especially Bach) but
have little musical talent, so it has been a
pleasure to contribute to the Association in this
way. I hope that the website is of help to SOCA for
many years. Best wishes to Derek, Brendan, Ruth,
Alan and all members.
